This very nice and cozy little tea-house was opened by Arnaud Dhénin, who also owns two other tea-rooms and shops in Paris (Rue Lacharrière and Rue Daguerre). This one is settled in the animated area of Rue Mouffetard, a nice destination for a stroll, with many shops and restaurants to discover. L’Autre Thé is perfect for a pause, with its wooden floor, shelves and counter, its sofa corner and its large selection of teas from all over the world. There are also good delicacies to take with tea, books to read quietly… time can fly in this little bubble of well-being!

Arnaud Dhénin and his wife Hélène also very regularly host small art exhibitions, and events such as lectures, concerts, plays… all good opportunities to discover interesting writers, specialists and artists from France and from abroad. These evenings have a relaxed and convivial atmosphere and conviviality really seems the perfect word to describe L’Autre Thé. Very far from many traditional and somewhat intimidating tea-houses, where beginners are sometimes afraid to enter, L’Autre Thé is opened to everyone, cool and friendly.  Quite a nice place to make one’s first steps on the roads of tea and to have a break from everyday’s marathon!
